Transparent Hose Production Process
Resin Preparation: The first step in producing transparent hoses is to prepare the resin. PVC is a thermoplastic polymer that comes in different grades, depending on the application. Resin preparation involves compounding additives and plasticizers to achieve specific properties such as flexibility, durability, and chemical resistance.
Extrusion: The next step is extrusion, where the compounded resin is fed into an extruder. The extruder melts the resin into a molten state and homogenizes it to eliminate any impurities. The molten resin is then passed through a die that shapes it into a continuous tube.
Cooling and Sizing: The tube is then cooled and sized through a calibrated sizing die that controls its diameter and wall thickness. The sizing die determines the final size and shape of the hose and also helps to improve its mechanical and physical properties.
Cutting and Packaging: The last step is to cut the continuous tube into the desired length and package it for shipping.
